If your account is compromised and misused, it may have been suspended for those actions. The password may have been changed. If you are unable to log in and your user profile page shows your account is suspended, try requesting a password reset first. If you do not receive a password reset email, contact the admins using the options below.
Your account has been closed
If your account has repeatedly engaged in behavior that violates the Content Policy or has been compromised and misused with no secure recovery options available, admins may permanently suspend and close your accounts. If you attempt to log in but fail and password reset emails arrive but do not allow you to successfully reset, your account may have been closed.
I think my account has been compromised
- Confirm that your user profile page at https:///www.reddit.com/username shows your account is permanently suspended.
- Confirm that you are unable to log into the account.
- Confirm that you do not receive password reset emails after requesting a reset for your account at https://accounts.reddit.com/password.
